We highly recommend the use of the injector for small wraps with width of 3/4 inch or less. Without the injector it is very difficult to get soft baits in small wraps. We cut the nozzle at any angle to increase the size of the port opening, allowing the smooth flow of bait through the nozzle into wrap. SPECIAL NOTE: During bait preparation ensure your bait is free of any potential obstructions such as bits of oyster shell or any foreign matter that may clog the nozzle of the injector. If a clog occurs, simply remove plunger, dump bait and remove obstruction(s). Before reusing bait, examine for foreign material before refilling injector. Ensure your bait of choice has been prepared in such a way that it will smoothly flow through the nozzle, i.e., bait particles are not larger than nozzle opening. Do not put hard particles (shell bit, bone, ligament, etc.) in injector. Always clean the bait injector after each use with warm soap water and rinse, store the plunger separate from the tube.
