This Fishing Wrap is designed for use with many types of soft bait. Type 1 refers to the size and shape of the mesh. Type 1 is hexagonal shaped mesh approximately 3 mm in size. The fabric is made of nylon and sewn with synthetic thread. This forms a durable wrap. This wrap is very good for encasing soft baits such oysters, clams, mussels, chicken liver or any other soft baits. It is more difficult for fish to steal your bait or be washed away by strong currents or rough surf. The mesh size allow most soft baits to slightly protrude out the mesh forming a "bait slick" over the wrap and the mesh practically vanishes into the bait. This size is the "go to size" for Sheepshead, Sea Trout, Corbina, and many other fish with smaller mouths. This wrap is ready made for "Cocktail" bait combination like shrimp and squid mix with menhaden oil "a powerful attractant bait for many fish, fresh and salt water". The injectors are ideal for getting the bait into this wrap. Make sure you glean out any hard particles from you bait to prevent clogging the injector nozzle. Wash the injector in warm soapy water after each use and store the tube and plunger separately. lightly oil the inside of the tube and rubber gasket with vegetable oil be before each use. Each Wrap is made by hand individually. There is no automation. Due to this, there made be slight variations in size.
